Tara Project = Minimal Intervention
In the driest desert on Earth, where nature makes the rules, we choose to interfere as little as possible. Tara is a wine that captures the terroir in its purest expression — fermented with native yeasts, unfiltered, and carrying all the authenticity that only an extreme place like the Atacama can offer.
The Tara Project began in the early 2000s, when we planted vineyards in the Huasco Valley, a place shaped by salt-rich soils, intense sunlight, and the life-giving coastal fog known as the camanchaca. In such an unforgiving environment, low intervention is not a trend — it’s a necessity. The vines survive with minimal human input, and in the cellar we let the fruit speak for itself.

What started as an experiment has become a global reference for authenticity. Today, Tara wines are distributed in 30 countries and have been featured in more than 50 Michelin-Starred restaurants around the world.
Tara is also part of our Low Intervention line, and alongside Tara Chardonnay—one of our customers’ favorites—we have now added Tara Viognier and Tara Pinot Noir. You can explore the full collection here:
Tara is not simply a low-intervention wine.
It is Atacama in its rawest form — bottled without filters.
